inZtance has been active in Estonian drum and bass scene since 2005, when he released his first track under the record label Basswerk Files. A year later remixed Future Prophecies his track 'War without End' (Red Dragon Recordings). In 2007 was released his first album 'Through Sounds' (You Get Nothing), of which has been played tracks a lot in different radios like UK`s BBC 1xtra, Blast FM, Pyroradios, Bassdrive and of course in local radio stations. In the same year he remixed Chris Corner`s (known formerly Sneaker Pimps) solo project 'Nightlife'. There have been releases under several record labels: Levitated Records, Med School, Warm Communications and Trough Sounds, which is his own label. inZtance has won the R2DNB award two times as 'Best Drum & Bass Producer' (2007, 2008) and 'Best Estonian DNB Track' (2008). Musically, he stays on the deeper yet the melodical side of drum & bass, usually spicing things up with techy elements. He likes the term "smooth-with-the-rough" as describing his distinctive style. inZtance`s music may also be described as constantly evolving as he always tries to push the boundaries of what he does and never settles down into one narrow genre.
