Keshob has come a long way in the world of drum and bass. Starting off dj'ing and producing as DJ Focus with his friends as a teenager in the nineties, he was soon welcomed at parties all over Estonia, frequenting Bio.Codes and Värka nights in Riga and ending up being hosted by DJ Gvozd in St. Petersburg at the All Russia Drum and Bass Convention and other events. For a while he took time out and a different trip to downtempo and chillout vibes, hosting a weekly show on the national radio station and finally finishing off a full length album in 2016 as Keshob, called Awake and Arise, showcasing the wide variety of vibes he'd experienced through the years. In 2018 he was celebrating 20 years in the business, and still going strong.

Which do you think you are more, a DJ or a producer?
More a DJ over the last few years, but producing is still my secret love.
What would you do differently as an aspiring young producer?
I would acquire more technical knowledge.
Who would you like to collaborate with and / or play b2b in the future?
There’s a young and promising producer named Alex SLK in Riga, whose handwriting is really profound and serious. His deeds have definitely sympathized to me and I would like to see him here, he’s not that far away either.
What should a promoter consider when inviting you to play?
Decades long experience, at the same time gazing towards the future and deviation to more experimental courses.
What should definitely be in your artist's rider?
Standard DJ gear. Sometimes it seems like a lot to ask..
The best / most memorable parties you've played at:
Can’t really remember the best ones or the oldest in detail, but there was a debut from Bad Company in Tallinn. You could feel the excitement in the air. There’s also a memorable 600 people liftoff simultaneously with the drop in Saint Petersburg..
The weirdest song request you've been asked during a DJ set:
The dnb audience is relatively polite and never ask for anything. During other sets - to ask for Nublu 10x an evening is too much..
Interesting fan experience:
Also from Saint Petersburg, where people remember you from decades ago and have listened your records to shreds.
Other interests (hobbies):
India
Do you prefer to make plans or to be spontaneous?
Can I do both? Maximum preparation and then decide by the atmosphere.
Who's your best friend?
Leopold
What question nobody should ever ask you?
There aren’t many secrets. What do you dare to ask?
