Planeet

Mikk started producing drum'n'bass in 1998 and since then has been using many names to cover his thirst for other genres. Drone, Whirl & Mayer (1/2) , Telec, Mik Nevel, Headread (1/2), Planeet and a few other aliases are on his belt. He started to DJ in 2000 and a few years later was already touring all around Estonia with his trance partner, DJ Whirl. They made anthems like "Streets at Night" and "The World Is Ours" for the legendary Freedom Parade street rave held annually in Tartu. In 2011 he was back on drum'n'bass and started his alias Planeet which got him Best Producer, Best Album (Ajamasin), Best Dj and Best Track (Satelliidid) at the 2012 R2DNB awards. Mikk has shared a stage with many of the heavyweight artists, such as Chase & Status, Pendulum, Skrillex, TC, Calyx & Teebee, Ed Rush, Dillinja, Hybrid Minds, The Upbeats to name a few. His project HeadRead with fellow producer/dj Slammin has them situated on labels such as DSCI4, Kos.Mos.Music and Absys records and their tracks are being played by drum'n'bass frontman London Elektricity and techno ambassador Laurent Garnier to name a few.
